Harmful ingredients in nail polishes and cosmetics.

We understand which products we are talking about:

Production plant according to EN ISO 22716 regulations accredited by the best European certification bodies. The polish LCI was formulated without the use of 3 very dangerous substances very harmful to those who are in contact with it or breathe them: Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP; substances that are frequently used in the industry.

Formaldehyde is an irritating gas.
It can be absorbed by respiratory and skin and is able to cause irritation to the mucous membranes, contact dermatitis (irritative and allergic) and bronchial asthma. On base of the acquisition and evaluation of numerous studies, the International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified the chemical agent Formaldehyde as "carcinogenic to humans".

Toluene is an aromatic solvent.
It can have toxic effects on humans during its use, in fact inhalation of high concentrations of the compound can lead to irritation of the mucous membranes of the first airways, and by contact allergic and irritative reactions to the skin.
Toluene can also cause disorders in the central nervous system.

DBP or Dibutilftalate
The DBP is a filmer.
So it is commonly used in enamels to make them last longer. Studies have shown that it is an endocrine disruptor. The endocrine system is also formed by the glands, which carry out fundamental processes of hormonal production, and a proper production regulation of these hormones keeps our organism healthy.
